Rufai Ladipo has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of Scanad Nigeria Limited, the newest subsidiary of marketing services group of Scangroup Limited and partly owned by WPP. Fagbohun Abiodun Mesharck has also been appointed as head of media, while Kenyan Sameer Ambegaonkar has been appointed as managing consultant. Former Virgin Mobile SA CEO Steve Bailey has quit Nigeria's Glo Mobile after only a month on the job. Bailey resigned from Virgin at the end of May to take on the role of chief commercial officer at Glo, which is the second largest mobile phone operator in Nigeria after MTN.
